Peaceful protest in The Netherlands

Today we marched for 5km peacefully through Amsterdam in the rain with over 25,000 people, all protesting against the vaccine passports. I felt proud and emotional to finally be able to stand with people who understand the consequences of what is happening around the world, and what will inevitably come for us ALL, if we do not stand up and say NO...

With the dogs on our backs most of the time and a good feeling in our hearts, we walked and chanted together with the people and it would have been a perfect day if on the way home in the train we had not seen 3 people get dragged off and beaten for not wearing their masks and refusing to leave the train...

It was shocking, traumatic and deeply sad, but it also reconfirmed the reasons why we all got together to speak loudly about our feelings today about these draconian laws, regulations and mandates around the world. Holland is one of the better places to be through these strange times, but after what I saw on the train tonight I wondered to myself, for how long...But I will try to sleep tonight without the images of the blood and screams I saw from the train window and instead the feeling of tens of thousands of people together walking, singing, chanting, drumming, policeman smiling, children in wagons, music and dancing, and countless flags, banners and signs waving through the rainy skies, bringing an energy and light greater and more brilliant than any sunshine we might have missed...

Love to you all, Layla
