Had to go back and revisit "The Rose" this week, and it sure brought back alot of memories as I had watched it many times as a child growing up. One of Bette Midler's best performances in my opinion, a great soundtrack, a raw and honest perspective of the music business on many levels and I always felt it was a humbling film worth taking the time to watch and appreciate. I think she did Janis proud.
