Happy Canada Day

I can’t remember the last time I was in Canada for Canada Day, it’s been many years. But everytime I celebrate it here in Europe I pour myself a nice drink and turn up the stereo to “11” with Tragically Hip blaring, and I get a little tear in my eye thinking about the sacrifices I have made for my music and life here in Europe, and how much I miss Canada for it’s vast beauty and absolutely wonderful people. Even after over ten years living in Europe, I am still so proud to be Canadian and I still feel so connected to my country. It truly is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
