Terry Reid

Not even sure what to say, today, as I hear the news of Terry Reid passing. Only days ago they were trying to fundraise for him, as he battled cancer, and now he is gone. Although I have heard mixed reviews on Terry as a person and artist in his older days, there is no denying how incredible the man was in his younger days as an artist and songwriter, innovative and beautiful music that I have spent countless hours enjoying since my husband introduced me to his music years ago. As weird as it was that Rob Zombie is the one who introduced most young people to Terry's music after using it in his soundtrack for "The Devil's Rejects", I am glad that he was discovered later this way by many, and that his "seed of memory" lived on and will continue to live on....It is still incredible to me that many people don’t know his music, but this is only a solemn reminder of the realities of the music business…Thanks for the music Terry. Spread wings over all that he passes...
